Mikkeller Beer Celebration Faroe Islands

Welcome to Mikkeller Beer Celebration Faroe Islands (MBCFI) – an exciting beer fest in the heart of Torshavn, Faroe Islands. MBCFI stands out as one of just three Mikkeller Beer Celebrations worldwide, alongside Denmark and Japan.

Torshavn holds a special place in Founder and CEO of Mikkeller, Mikkel Bjergsø's heart, which was marked by the opening of a bar in 2017, a joint venture with Johannes Jensen. Mikkel, a frequent visitor to the Faroe Islands, actively supports and helps the local brewery OY Brewing.

MBCFI isn't just about beer; it's an experience for both locals and beer enthusiasts. Set against the stunning backdrop of Torshavn's harbor in the Silo, the festival will feature 30 international breweries from Europe, the USA, and, of course, the Faroe Islands. Each brewery will showcase 8 different beers across four sessions.

Participants get a festival glass upon entry, allowing them to freely savor and explore the diverse beer offerings. Beyond the festival, we've curated special events in the nature, at local restaurants, and more, ensuring a complete experience for both guests and locals.
